The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) is proud to present the 25th annual Fall Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase, open from September 28th to the 30th. The 89 featured remodeled homes will be open Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday/Sunday from noon to 6:00 pm. All are free to tour with the exception of one Dream Remodeled Home that requests a $5 donation to the BATC Foundation to enter.
The comprehensive Guidebook again features all of the homes with maps and information, plus editorial including remodeling stories from real families, listings of special events, top design trends, and a photo montage of the 2012 Remodeler of Merit Award winners. Guidebooks are again available at area Holiday Stationstores.
One beautiful, whole house remodeling project has been selected by the BATC Foundation as its Dream Remodeled Home. Visitors pay a $5 donation to tour this home, which helps the Foundation continue to build and remodel homes for area families in need. Home #R2, by Schrader & Companies is located at 5110 Alfred Road in Golden Valley. You can read more about it in the Guidebook.
New This Fall
BATC is pleased to launch the all-new www.ParadeofHomes.org, which is also accessible at www.ParadeofHomes.com for the first time. The website has a fresh new look as well as easy-to-navigate search capabilities to bring visitors all the information they need to tour the homes and learn more about the remodelers. A mobile site and iPhone app lets smart phones and tablets search quickly and easily, too.
Projects of All Types
The homes on tour feature virtually every type of remodeling imaginable. Visitors can find 63 kitchens to tour, 27 additions, 14 outdoor living spaces, 14 basements, 18 whole house remodels, eight tear-downs and even a couple of garages. This year’s most popular remodeling project, according to a recent survey by Renovation Experts, is also well represented — with 32 gorgeous new bathrooms.
Remodeled Homes Located Across the Extended Metro Area
Most parts of the Twin Cities are represented in this Fall’s Remodelers Showcase. As usual, Edina (19) and Minneapolis (15) have the most projects to tour. The Lake Minnetonka area is also well represented with six homes in Minnetonka and one each in Minnetonka Beach, Orono, Medina, and Shorewood. Additionally, five remodeled homes are located in St. Paul, and four each in Bloomington and Woodbury.
The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), presenters of the Parade of Homes and the Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase, represents over 1,000 member firms involved in all phases of the home building and remodeling industries. The leading voice for Builders and Remodelers, BATC is dedicated to providing a diverse selection of quality and affordable housing to the Twin Cities area. Parade of HomesSM and Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase® are service marks of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities.
