ROSEVILLE, MINN. (August 2021) — This fall, the public has an opportunity to help area families in need when they visit one Remodeled Dream Home during the Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase October 1-3. When visitors tour these beautifully remodeled homes, they are asked for a tax-deductible $5 admission, which supports the work of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, the charitable arm of Housing First Minnesota. The Foundation builds, remodels and repairs homes for Twin Cities veterans and families in need, often in partnership with local charities and organizations.
Tourgoers who contribute $5 to tour the Dream Homes during the Remodelers Showcase and the Parade of Homes tour are a major source of funding for the Foundation.

Eclectic Vibe
This 1950s lake home went through a large renovation in the 1980s and is now completely reimagined in 2021! The living area ceilings were all vaulted — soaring to 16 feet. The back of the home is now nearly all glass to capture the panoramic lake views, and the forgotten pool was totally revived. The previous home had one bedroom on the 3,500-square-foot main level, which didn’t work for this family of four. The homeowners went with an eclectic vibe throughout the home with an artisan brass hood vent, custom wood cabinets and doors, a free-floating staircase, and a custom Malm fireplace.
