The Builders Association of the Twin Cities’ (BATC) ticketed, high-end home event, the Artisan Home Tour, will launch its third annual tour on June 10th. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through June 26th, the tour features 21 new homes plus eight high-end remodels open the final weekend. Tickets are on sale at Bachman’s, online at ArtisanHomeTour.org, or at the homes. Discount coupons are available at area Holiday Stationstores.
- The Artisan Home Tour by Parade of Homes is presented by the Builders
Association of the Twin Cities (BATC). A natural extension of the
Parade of Homes brand, the Artisan Home Tour was launched in 2014,
and allows high-end builders and remodelers a chance to show their
most exceptional homes to the public - The tour runs June 10th through the 26th, with 21 high-end new
homes open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00
noon to 6:00 pm all three weekends. - Additionally, eight high-end remodeled homes are on the Artisan
Home Tour this summer, and will open the final weekend, June
24-25-26th during the same hours (12:00 noon to 6:00 pm). - TourTickets offer entry into all of the new and remodeled homes,
and can be purchased in several ways. Discounted tickets are
available at local Bachman’s stores for $20; TourTickets can be
purchased online at ArtisanHomeTour.org for $25; or for $30 at the
door of any Artisan home during the tour. Discount coupons are also
available at Holiday Stationstores and redeemable online or at the
door. Single tickets to visit a specific home are also available at
the door for $5. - Proceeds from ticket sales ($10.00 of TourTickets and $2.00 of single
home tickets) are donated to the BATC Foundation to help their work
building and remodeling homes for area families in need. - Information about all the homes and builders can be found online at
ArtisanHomeTour.org, and in a comprehensive guidebook which will be
available at the homes, at Bachman’s, or in flip-book form online. - The Parade Craze app can be downloaded free for iPhone and Android
devices, and includes searchable information about each of the homes
with comments, photos and map section. The app also allows tourers to
use their smart phones as their ticket. - Homes are located across the region, with the most homes in the Lake
Minnetonka area (nine), others are scattered from Chaska to Hudson
Wisconsin. - Six homes have been energy tested and granted MN Green Path
Energy-Tested status, with one home earning a Green Path Advanced
Certification. - Visitors can enjoy wine or beer tastings each Friday from 3:00 to
6:00 pm, and special limo tour packages are available for purchase
online at ArtisanHomeTour.org. - A LookBook of professional architectural photos of all the homes will
be available in October, included with the Fall issue of Artful
Living Magazine and online at ArtisanHomeTour.org. - Visitors should remember to bring their ticket and wear socks (shoes
and bare feet are not allowed in the homes. - Visitors should not bring these items: • A camera (photos of the
homes will be available in our Look Book, included with the Fall
issue of Artful Living Magazine and on the Artisan Home Tour
website after the Tour • pets (except service animals) • Food and
beverages • Baby strollers
Other things to keep in mind:
- The Artisan Home Tour is a self-guided tour using your own vehicle
- There is ample parking at each home
- Please observe “No Parking” signs and be considerate of the neighbors (especially not blocking their mailboxes or driveways)
- The Tour runs rain or shine
- Bathrooms are not available for use at the homes
- Tickets are non-refundable
