Over 200 Booths Showcasing new Products and Services to over 1,000 Builders, Remodelers, Architects and Interior Designers
The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) will take over Hall D at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Thursday, February 21st for its annual Builders and Remodelers Show. The industry trade show has been a resource for area builders and remodelers since the 1980s, growing from a table-top display event to the largest housing industry show in the midwest. In 2013, over 200 exhibitors will showcase products like windows, lumber, lighting, granite and much more as well as mortgage bankers, sub-contractors, insurance and architectural services providers.
Prior to the show floor opening, the BATC Foundation, the association’s charitable arm, will host its annual recognition luncheon with former Minnesota Viking Middle Linebacker Matt Blair as keynote speaker at 11:30 am. The Foundation will thank the army of volunteers and donors who have helped them build and remodel homes for area families in need. The Builders and Remodelers Show is free to all licensed contractors, architects and interior designers and open from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. A Demo Stage will feature six companies showing off their products and services in 15 minute presentations. A buffet style, sit-down dinner will be served during the show. And, tied to the Hollywood theme, Jason Matheson, MyFox9 early morning anchor and MyTalk107 personality will be on hand from 5:00 to 7:00 pm to judge Hollywood themed booths and visit with attendees. After the show floor closes, all attendees are invited to attend after-party suites offering interactive games based on the construction industry.
Exhibitors at the show will be presenting their newest and most innovative products and services, like the new Whirlpool White Ice Collection of appliances, wireless window shades for remote opening and closing, and Eze Breeze sliding screens. More information is available online at BATCBRS.com.
