ROSEVILLE, MINN. (Feb. 18, 2019) — The Twin Cities Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase continues to be the go-to resources for area families to tour, free of charge, real remodeled homes across the Twin Cities. This self-guided tour is where homeowners can discover how to make their old homes work with their new lifestyle and needs without leaving the community they love.
- The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is presented by the professional remodeler members of BATC-Housing First Minnesota.
- The Remodelers Showcase has been held in the Twin Cities since 1984, and is a convenient way for homeowners to meet professional remodelers without obligation while seeing real remodeling projects.
- The tour showcases 59 remodeled homes open March 29-31 from 12-6 p.m. A total of 48 professional remodeling firms are participating in the tour.
- All the remodeled homes are free to tour with the exception of two Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 admission to the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation. This spring’s Dream Remodeled Homes are two whole-home renovations #R30 from Nor-Son Custom Builders in Edina and #R55 from Becker Building and Remodeling, Inc. in Mounds View.
- A comprehensive guidebook includes descriptive information, maps and photos of all the remodeling projects, and is available, free of charge, at area Holiday Stationstores, and in e-magazine form online at ParadeofHomes.org.
- Guidebook editorial includes the real remodeling experiences of families whose homes are on the tour plus an event calendar, award-winning homes and more.
- Online tour planning can be found online at ParadeofHomes.org. The site is fully mobile and allows planning trips on smartphones and tablets.
- Homes are located in 23 cities across the region, with the most located in Minneapolis (16), Edina (10) and Eden Prairie (5).
- Projects range from kitchens (45) and bathrooms (31) to great/family rooms (16) and additions (15). There are garage, bedroom and deck renovations, plus 11 whole-house remodels to offer something for everyone to see.
