ROSEVILLE, MINN. (Feb. 06, 2019) — The Spring Parade of Homes, presented by BATC-Housing First Minnesota, opens March 2 and offers 472 new homes to tour all across the Twin Cities metro. Homes are open March 2-31, Thursdays through Sundays from 12-6 p.m.

  • All the homes are free to tour with the exception of four Dream Homes for charity. Visitors are asked to pay a $5 admission to the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation to enter. Dream Homes include:
    • #38 by Sustainable 9 Design + Build in Shakopee, priced at $1,350,000
    • #48 by City Homes, LLC in Minneapolis, priced at $1,900,000
    • #99 by Stonewood, LLC in Minnetrista priced at $2,650,000
    • #118 by Mark D. Williams Custom Homes in Medina, priced at $1,600,000
  • A free, comprehensive guidebook provides complete information about the tour, including maps, descriptions and images of all the homes, and will be available at area Holiday Stationstores beginning on Feb. 16, 2019
  • A comprehensive companion website offers a variety of search filters plus additional information about each builder at ParadeofHomes.org. Online visitors can use the Tour Planner to map routes between selected homes and save and share homes of interest with family and friends.
  • Editorial in the guidebook includes our cover story on a real family’s homebuilding experience, a calendar for special Parade of Homes events, award-winning homes and a style section which showcases the latest home design and décor trends from homes on the tour.
  • There are more than 300 homes on this spring’s tour that were tested by an independent energy rater, and have been assigned a HERS (Home Energy Rating System) rating. These homes can show visitors a Green Path Home Performance Report (HPR) that graphically explains the home’s energy test results and allow homebuyers to compare expected energy use between homes.
  • The lowest priced home is #367 at $210,000. The two-bedroom, one-bath home is located in River Falls, WI and built by Oevering Homes, LLC
  • The most expensive home is #364 at $3,570,000. This 8,270-square-foot home is located in Hudson and built by Divine Custom Homes, LLC.
  • There are a total of 45 homes priced over $1,000,000 and 19 priced $300,000 or under. The total value of all homes on the tour is $287,063,721.
  • Homes are located throughout the region, with Lakeville (36), Woodbury (30), Plymouth (29) and Lake Elmo (27), having the most homes to tour. Closer in, Minneapolis (2), Edina (4) and Brooklyn Park (3) are all represented on the tour. Outlying cities with Parade Homes include Faribault, Watertown and Sartell.
