• The Fall Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is presented by the professional remodeler members of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC).
• The Remodelers Showcase has been held in the Twin Cities for 28 years.
• The tour runs October 2-4, 2015, with 63 remodeled homes open Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 pm. A total of 51 professional remodeling firms are participating in the tour.
• All the remodeled homes are free to tour with the exception of two Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 donation to the BATC Foundation. Dream Remodeled Home #R7 is a renovated condominium in the former Children’s Hospital building in St. Paul by Vujovich Design Build. The second Dream Remodeled Home, #R26, is a whole house project by Healthy Exposures, designed to maintain the highest level of indoor air quality.
• A comprehensive Guidebook includes descriptive information, maps and photos or illustrations of all the remodeling projects, and is available, free of charge, at area Holiday Stationstores.
• Guidebook editorial includes the real remodeling experiences from the families of four homes on the tour, trends for outdoor living, décor inspiration from the remodeled homes on last June’s Artisan Home Tour, a calendar of events happening during the tour, plus sweepstakes to win a Backyard Barbecue Party for 20 and ten adult coloring books.
• Online tour planning can be found at the comprehensive website, www.ParadeofHomes.org. The integrated mobile site at m.ParadeofHomes.org provides all of the same searches in an easy-to-read platform for smart phones and tablets. And the Digital Magazine link lets them read the Guidebook online.
• Homes are located in 26 cities across the region, with the most located in Edina (11) and Minneapolis (7).
• Projects range from kitchens (all but seven homes have had some work done in the kitchen) additions (14) to bathrooms (28), and whole house remodels (7).
