- The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is presented by the
professional remodeler members of the Builders Association of the
Twin Cities (BATC). - The Remodelers Showcase has been held in the Twin Cities since 1984,
and is a convenient way for homeowners to meet professional
remodelers without obligation while seeing real remodeling projects. - The tour showcases 64 remodeled homes open Friday, September 29
through Sunday, October 1st from noon to 6:00 pm. A total of 52
professional remodeling firms are participating in the tour. - All the remodeled homes are free to tour with the exception of two
Artisan Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 donation to the BATC
Foundation. #R58, a mid-century modern whole house remodel by Crystal
Kitchen Center (pictured above) and #62, a unique addition to a Wayzata cottage by
Pillar Homes Partner. - A comprehensive Guidebook includes descriptive information, maps and
photos of all the remodeling projects, and is available, free of
charge, at area Holiday Stationstores, and in e-magazine form online
at ParadeofHomes.org. - Guidebook editorial includes the real remodeling experiences of four
families whose homes are on the tour, an article about aging in place remodeling, plus an event calendar, style
trends and more. - Online tour planning can be found at the comprehensive website,
www.ParadeofHomes.org. The integrated mobile site at
m.ParadeofHomes.org includes all the homes and searches in an
easy-to-read platform for smart phones and tablets. - Homes are located in 29 cities across the region, with the most
located in Minneapolis (10) and St. Paul (6). - Projects range from kitchens (41) and bathrooms (23) to great/family
rooms (23), additions (13) and basement remodels (10). There are
exterior renovations, family rooms, bedrooms and offices plus 11
whole house remodels (five are teardowns) to offer something for
everyone to see.
