ROSEVILLE, MINN. (Sept. 25, 2018) — In its 35th year, the Twin Cities Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase continues to be the go-to resources for area families to tour, free of charge, real remodeled homes across the Twin Cities. This is where homeowners can discover how to make their old homes work with their new lifestyle and needs without leaving the community they love.

  • The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is presented by the professional remodeler members of BATC-Housing First Minnesota.
  • The Remodelers Showcase has been held in the Twin Cities since 1984, and is a convenient way for homeowners to meet professional remodelers without obligation while seeing real remodeling projects.
  • The tour showcases 55 remodeled homes open Sept. 28-30 from 12-6 p.m. A total of 46 professional remodeling firms are participating in the tour.
  • All the remodeled homes are free to tour with the exception of two Dream Remodeled Home that request a $5 admission to the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation. This fall’s Dream Remodeled Homes are two whole home renovations #R30 from Black Dog Homes in Wayzata and #R47 from Frontier Structures in Minneapolis.
  • A comprehensive guidebook includes descriptive information, maps and photos of all the remodeling projects, and is available, free of charge, at area Holiday Stationstores, and in e-magazine form online at ParadeofHomes.org.
  • Guidebook editorial includes the real remodeling experiences of three families whose homes are on the tour plus an event calendar, style trends and more.
  • Online tour planning can be found at the newly updated website, ParadeofHomes.org. The site is fully mobile and allows planning trips on smartphones and tablets.
  • Homes are located in 28 cities across the region, with the most located in Minneapolis (9), Edina (6) and Woodbury (6).
  • Projects range from kitchens (35) and bathrooms (19) to great/family rooms (13) and additions (6). There are home office renovations, bedrooms and theatres plus 19 whole-house remodels to offer something for everyone to see.
