- The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is presented by the professional remodeler members of BATC-Housing First Minnesota.
- The Remodelers Showcase has been held in the Twin Cities since 1984, and is a convenient way for homeowners to meet professional remodelers without obligation while seeing real remodeling projects.
- The tour showcases 63 remodeled homes open Friday, March 23 through Sunday, March 25 from noon to 6:00 pm. A total of 51 professional remodeling firms are participating in the tour.
- All the remodeled homes are free to tour with the exception of one Dream Remodeled Home that request a $5 admission to the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation. This spring’s Dream Remodeled Home is a historic renovation from Vujovich Design Build. Home #R54 is a 1915 art deco brick Colonial in Minneapolis that has been updated to retain many of the original architectural details while adding the stylish flair of its owner.
- A comprehensive Guidebook includes descriptive information, maps and photos of all the remodeling projects, and is available, free of charge, at area Holiday Stationstores, and in e-magazine form online at ParadeofHomes.org.
- Guidebook editorial includes the real remodeling experiences of five families whose homes are on the tour plus an event calendar, style trends and more.
- Online tour planning can be found at the newly updated website, ParadeofHomes.org. The site is fully mobile and allows planning trips on smartphones and tablets.
- Homes are located in 26 cities across the region, with the most located in Minneapolis (13) and Edina (12).
- Projects range from kitchens (43) and bathrooms (20) to great/family rooms (22), additions (14) and basement remodels (11). There are exterior renovations, family rooms, bedrooms and offices plus six whole house remodels (one is a teardown) to offer something for everyone to see.
