ROSEVILLE, MINN. (Aug. 2020) — Housing First Minnesota is proud to present the 2020 Fall Parade of Homes. The Twin Cities Parade of Homes continues to be the go-to resource for Twin Cities’ families to see, free of charge, the entire gamut of new homes and neighborhoods available across the region. This fall, there are 355 homes open 12 – 6 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays from Sept. 12 – Oct. 4, 2020. COVID-19 safety precautions will be taken at each home to ensure the experience is safe for all.

Area families are encouraged to experience the value and benefits of new homes and neighborhoods all across the spectrum of price, style and location during the tour. They’ll also get to see the latest in home features, finishes, products and colors for those who just love to see what’s new in home design and décor. All the homes are free to tour, with the exception of four Dream Homes where you’ll be asked to pay a $5 admission at the door. Proceeds from the Dream Homes go to the Housing First Minnesota Foundation to help them build and remodel homes for Minnesotans in need.

Guidebook Features all 355 Homes and More

The magazine-style guidebook is free and is available at area Holiday Stationstores starting Aug. 31 and in an electronic version online at ParadeofHomes.org. The guidebook showcases all Parade HomesSM with images, descriptions, maps and prices to make shopping easy. Also, a variety of interesting articles about new homes, homebuying and design trends to inspire readers. There’s a calendar of events so you can plan your tour to attend special events like appetizer tastings and design seminars. Plus, our Minnesota Green Path Energy Tested homes have been independently energy-tested by a certified RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) rater and show testing results on a Minnesota Green Path Home Performance Report (HPR).

New Safety Guidelines

Our highest priority remains everyone’s health and well-being, which means things will look a little different when shopping for homes during this Fall’s Parade of Homes. Our builders have implemented a series of safety precautions to keep visitors safe. Homes will have access limited to 10 people at a time and masks are required. Homebuyers will be able to shop for homes in person with these added safety precautions and social distancing measures, along with the additional virtual capabilities.

All visitors are encouraged to review the full safety recommendations at ParadeofHomes.org before heading out to shop.
