ROSEVILLE, MINN. — BATC-Housing First Minnesota’s ticketed, high-end home event, the Artisan Home Tour, is set to open for its fifth season on June 8. This year, the tour features 22 incredible new homes open from 12-6 p.m. on June 8-10, 15-17 and 22-24. Plus, five artisan-quality remodeled homes will be open the final weekend, June 22-24.
The homes showcased on the Artisan Home Tour have each been designed and constructed with the highest level of architectural integrity and top-quality craftsmanship. These million-dollar-plus residences from the region’s most exclusive homebuilders and remodelers also feature today’s most popular designs, materials, accessories and colors.
Tickets
A TourTicket (good for all homes) or a single-visit ticket is required for entry into the homes. TourTickets can be purchased at area Bachman’s at a discounted rate of $20. TourTickets can also be purchased online at ArtisanHomeTour.org for $25, or at the door of any home on the tour for $30. Discount coupons are also available at all area Holiday Stationstores for redemption online or at any Artisan Home. For those interested in just visiting one or two individual homes, single-visit tickets are available for $5 at the door.
A portion of every ticket sold will be donated to the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation. Donations help the Foundation continue its work building and remodeling homes for families in need. Recent projects include an apartment renovation for women with their children going through addiction recovery, updated bathrooms and flooring in a group home, and a new single-family home designated as transitional housing for veterans.

All the homes on tour are featured online at ArtisanHomeTour.org, in the Parade Craze mobile app and in the comprehensive Artisan Home Tour guidebook.
The Artisan Home Tour guidebook is direct mailed to 80,000 high-income households in the Twin Cities region, including about half that will be polybagged with the summer issue of Artful Living magazine. Guidebooks can be picked up at Bachman’s ticket locations, and a digital version is available online at ArtisanHomeTour.org.
Downloading the Parade Craze app provides complete tour information on your personal phone or tablet. In addition to providing an easy-to-use, online ticketing application, the mobile app allows visitors to view homes (including photos) map out their tour route, and rate and comment on the homes they tour.
Homes Concentrated in the Western Suburbs and Lakes Area
As you might expect, the majority of the region’s most exclusive homes tend to be built around the Lakes or in Edina. The 2018 Artisan Home Tour is no exception. Homes on the west side of the Twin Cities include two in Victoria, one in Shorewood, five in Orono, four in Medina, one in Plymouth, one in Wayzata and four Edina. There are also homes located right in the Twin Cities with one in Minneapolis and one in St. Paul, and two homes in the eastern suburbs with one in Lake Elmo and one in Woodbury.
This year there are five remodeled homes, two in Edina, two in Wayzata and one in St. Paul. Those homes are open the last weekend of the tour.
Homes in a Variety of Styles
From Cape Dutch to Tudor and everything in between, the Artisan Homes run the entire gamut of styles. Designed to make life comfortable and gracious, Artisan Homes include details and features that assure each family’s lifestyle is at center stage. High-end kitchens showcase top-of-the-line appliances and unique custom finishes. The latest technology is a core feature in many of the homes, including several that are fully-automated. Indoor to outdoor transitions are thoughtfully planned with features like screen porches, terraces, reflection ponds, outdoor kitchens and more.
Wine and Beer Tasting
Every Friday from 3-6 p.m., visitors will be able to taste wines from Artisan beverage partners Bronco Wine Company (June 8) and Breakthru Beverage (June 22) or beer from St. Paul’s Flat Earth (June 15).

Look Book Coming
During the tour, all the Artisan Homes will be professionally photographed by Landmark Photography. Photos will be included in an Artisan Home Tour Look Book published this fall and distributed in the fall issue of Artful Living Magazine and online at ArtisanHomeTour.org.
