ROSEVILLE, MINN. (Aug. 2019) — This fall, the public has an opportunity to help area families in need when they visit five Dream Homes during the Parade of Homes. Each time a visitor tours a Dream Home on the Parade of Homes, your $5 admission supports the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation, the charitable arm of BATC-Housing First Minnesota. The Foundation constructs new and renovates existing transitional housing facilities with the purpose of helping Minnesota homeless, veterans and others in need.
The Foundation believes stable housing is life-changing for families and individuals facing crises related to homelessness. Dream Home admission fees allow the Foundation to partner with local service providers to transform shelter facilities, increase our capacity to serve more people, and offer scholarships to those seeking an education in the construction-trade industry.
