Several Award-Winning Homes to Be Featured During Parade of Homes℠ Beginning This Week
ROSEVILLE, MINN. — Housing First Minnesota announces the winners of its Spring Reggie Awards and Trillium Awards on Thursday, recognizing the design and craftsmanship of the builders participating in the Spring Parade of Homes.
Since 1968, local builders have coveted the Reggie Award℠, which recognizes excellence in design and construction in the Parade of Homes. The Trillium Awards honor the associates and trade partners for their collaboration with these award-winning builders.
For the Spring Parade of Homes, Housing First Minnesota awarded 22 Reggie Awards to 15 homebuilders and 43 Trillium Awards to 18 associate members.

“Our Reggies and Trilliums honor the builders, trade partners and suppliers who have partnered to create these award-winning homes this spring season,” said Gary Kraemer, president of Housing First Minnesota. “As we have seen over the past two months, it is imperative to have a place to call home, and these winning entries reflect the fine craftsmanship and outstanding design of our nation-leading builders.”
After an early pause, the Spring Parade of Homes returns Thursday, May 28, with model homes open to no more than 10 people at a time. Builders will have homes open 12 – 6 p.m., Thursday through Sunday through June 14. Additionally, as more consumers have gained comfort with online viewing of homes, and builders have enhanced their digital capacity, the Parade of Homes virtual event will also continue through June 14.
At least eight of the award-winning homes are available during the Spring Parade of Homes, and homebuilders are continuing to add homes to the spring tour. A full list of homes available for viewing can be found at ParadeofHomes.org.
All participating builders with open houses will complete a safety plan as mandated in Gov. Walz’s order. The full list of recommended safety tips can be viewed here. In addition, each home on the tour will have a sign outlining the safety recommendations for those visiting model homes.
