200 Job Openings from 20 Businesses at a Construction Job Fair at Mall of America

Roseville, MN –The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) is holding its third annual construction job fair to help fill more than 200 job openings from 20 companies. The BATC Job and Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a career in home building industry.

There’s more to be found at the career fair than just jobs, visitors can watch local Lego artists, Master Builders from the Greater Midwest Lego Train Club, build a model home construction site from Lego brick. Also, Sears will be demonstrating the latest construction tools and technology.

The BATC Job & Career Fair will be held:

LOCATION: Mall of America Rotunda, 60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425

Types of job openings include trades (carpenters, painters, drywallers, plumbers, HVAC technicians), sales managers and representatives, customer service, warehouse, drivers, administrative and much more.

Participating businesses include All Sons’ Exteriors, Inc.; AMEK Custom Builders, Inc.; American Workshop Career Education; Brush Masters Inc.; Dakota County Lumber Company; Idc-automatic “ The Garage Door Place”; Iron River Construction; JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, Inc. & Schwieters Companies; JNS Builders, LLC; Lyman Companies; Pella Windows & Doors; Plekkenpol Builders, Inc.; Practical Systems; Shaw/Stewart Lumber Co.; Solid; Synergy Products, LLC; and Tradesmen International More businesses are expected to be added.

There is no fee to attend with no appointments necessary. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes and references. Attendees can also discuss career paths and future opportunities with the participating companies.
