New Parade of Homes Logo and Web Site

ROSEVILLE, MINN. (August 15, 2012) — The Parade of Homes has a new look and a new website. The logo redesign was part of a new identity package for the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, and aimed at bringing a more cohesive look to all of the association’s products and brands.

The new Parade of Homes logo borrows much from its previous designs. The type font, Tahoma, remains, as does the thick under-stroke that has been an integral element in the Parade of Homes logo since the 1980s. The new BATC logo picks up the same font and overlap stylization, connecting the two much more closely than ever before. The Remodelers Showcase mimics the changes, as does the new BATC Foundation logo. Altogether, the logo family reflects the brand personality (trusted, rock-solid, influential) and brand position (the leading voice for builders and remodelers) that the builders association has earned over its 90 decades providing resources and support to the Twin Cities housing industry.

New Web site

The nationally award-winning ParadeofHomes.org has served BATC well since its last rebuild in 2005. But technology has been rapidly changing as has consumer shopping habits, so a fresh new Web site was long overdue. Launched on August 20th, the new site streamlines the look and search options, while keeping all of the features that have kept visitors coming back year after year. During the Spring 2012 Parade of Homes, ParadeofHomes.org had almost 60,000 unique visitors, about a half-million page views, and an average visit of more than seven pages and almost five minutes in duration.
