Roseville, MN (April 7, 2015) – The home building industry took over the Minneapolis Convention Center Thursday for the 2015 Builders and Remodelers Show (BRS). This was the Builders Association of the Twin Cities 33rd year hosting the event, which is the largest building industry product show in the upper Midwest.
The show consisted of 228 vendors showing off the latest in building trends, technology, and products for home building and remodeling. Over 800 builders, remodelers, architects and interior designers from across the region attended the event.
“I attend BRS to see what the latest products are and how I can implement them into what our company can provide to our clients,” said Dave Durst of Durst & Gans Building Corporation “It also provides the opportunity to chat with old friends and hear how the industry is handling all the new changes.”
At this year’s Great Outdoors themed Builders and Remodelers Show anonymous judges walked the show floor to hunt for the best and most engaging booths. Schwieters Companies, Inc. of Hugo, MN won best booth overall; Brush Masters of Maple Grove, MN took second place; and Focal Point Flooring Cabinets and Design of Otsego, MN won the award for best themed booth. The lucky winner of a $1,000 BRS Give-Away drawing was Troy Asleson, co-owner of Stone Cottage Construction, Inc. of Apple Valley, MN.
